New Recipe: Strawberry Pizza

First, I know I haven't shared a recipe in a while, but with lots of traveling comes little time to cook. So, to make it up to you, I have a great recipe to share with you for a Strawberry Pizza -flavorful, fantastic, and fancy!

I included a link to this recipe in last week's Friday Favorites from Jen Loves Kev and couldn't wait to test it out.It was different from anything I had seen before, but sounded good and it looked like an easy recipe for a weeknight meal...

First, heat some oil in a pan. Add one sliced onion and stir to coat the onions in the oil. Reduce the heat to medium and let the onions cook on the stove without burning (umm, as you will see below we weren't so successful on the no burning front) for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Once the onions are cooked, spread them evenly over your pizza crust. We use Boboli's whole wheat crust.

Next top this with as much Parmesan and Gorgonzola cheese as you like.

Then take your honey and drizzle it over the pizza - I was pretty generous with the honey.

Then top with strawberries.

Pop it in the oven at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes.

And watch your fancy creation disappear in no time.

Find this and other fancy and fantastic recipes on my What's Cookin' page.
